This class meets for 3 to 4 hours per week for 11 weeks. The course is geared toward commercial building HVAC system designers, but all are welcome.

WEEK 2 - Psychometrics & Refrigeration Cycle

WEEK 3 - Load Estimating

WEEK 4 - System Selection

WEEK 5 - Duct Design

WEEK 6 - Airside Equipment: RTUs, Air Handlers, Fan Coils

WEEK 7 - Water Piping & Pumps

WEEK 8 - Chiller Plants

WEEK 9 - Direct Digital Controls (DDC)

WEEK 10 - Indoor Air Quality & Filtration

WEEK 11 - Energy Recovery and Wrap-Up Topics

This class qualifies for up to (30) thirty hours of continuing education for Illinois and Wisconsin Professional Engineers. Students must attend 7 of the 11 sessions to receive a PDH certificate.
