OVERVIEW:This training course provides the participants with an overview of 38MURA Crossover unit which allows the usage of a horizontal discharge mini-split inverter with a standard furnace or fan coil. The course will include installation requirements, operating characteristics and a general overview of service and troubleshooting procedures.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND:The target audience includes HVAC technicians and installers. Attendees should have a general understanding of air conditioning systems, refrigerants, installation and service procedures.
REQUIRED TOOLS: electrical meter and basic hand-tools
OUTLINE:
- Introduction of product (including models, capacities, voltages, etc.)
- Application of R-410a refrigerant
- Installation requirements and procedures
- Operating characteristics
- Fault codes
- Servicing and Diagnostic procedures
- Refrigerant piping lengths and charging procedures
- Installation wiring (standard thermostat or communicating)
This classes qualifies for 4 "FAD Distributor" hours for the dealer.

REQUIRED TOOLS: torque wrench, R-410A flaring tool, reemer, pipe cutter, 2 adjustable wrenches, electrical meter, and basic hand-tools
