Class size is limited to 20 students due to the hands-on nature. Much of the time will be spent in our live-fire lab. Please wear long pants and closed-toed shoes. Lunch is provided.

This class is a six week course designed to help dealers become more profitable! Starting with a foundation of maintenance agreements, the class will go through how to properly price jobs, how to run your company as a BUSINESS, and how to increase sales and ultimately make more profit.

OVERVIEW:This training course provides the participants with an overview of Carrier/Bryant 37MU and Heil/Day&Night D5CU Crossover units which allow the usage of a horizontal discharge mini-split inverter with a standard furnace or air handler fan coil. The course will include installation requirements, operating characteristics and a general overview of service and troubleshooting procedures.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND:The target audience includes HVAC technicians and installers. Attendees should have a general understanding of air conditioning systems, refrigerants, installation and service procedures.

REQUIRED TOOLS: electrical meter with micro-leads and basic hand-tools

OUTLINE:

- Introduction of product (including models, capacities, voltages, etc.)

- Application of R-454B refrigerant

- Installation requirements and procedures

- Operating characteristics

- Fault codes

- Servicing and Diagnostic procedures

- Refrigerant piping lengths and charging procedures

- Installation wiring (standard thermostat or communicating)

This classes qualifies for 4 "FAD Distributor" or "Elite Distributor" hours for the dealer and 4 NATE hours for the technician
